mpc 2500 se crashing after chop shop

hi

got a new mpc 2500 se and it has started crashing after using the chop shop - the thing is it's not every time, which doesn't make sense but is very annoying

it also crashed when i pressed the INPUT THRU button. i haven't updated anything since i bought it a month ago.

i am new to using a mpc after wanting to have something more physical compared to FLstudio.

Just my two pennies worth, but have you made any modifications to the unit, added any memory/hdd/cd?

If not, maybe you could just restore it to factory default settings or reinstall the OS?

It came with both 128ram and cd drive installed. It hasn't crashed since i posted this thread but if it does i'll try restoring the factory settings.

I used to get this with both of my 2500's. It wouldn't happen all the time. Seem to happen when I was working with a lot of samples (but don't quote me on that) It would really tick me off though.
