is a Pearl S2000 snare stand!
with most snare stands, the arm length is fixed, but with this, each arm can be adjusted:
and the 2500 just fits with a couple of cm's to spare, meaning once its in, you can lock it tight against the rubber grips.
the back:
ok so that way gets in the way of a couple of ports, but if you must have access to the midi and out that is blocked this way, flip it round nothing is blocked
the whole head thingy articulates freely as well, so you can angle the thing towards you or away from you to suit whatever playing style you prefer.
it does jiggle a little bit, but not so much that it'll throw you off playing the pads live.
there are also adapters that you can use to raise it up for playing standing, which i'll be getting later in the week.
its pretty sturdy, and once locked the mpc is nice and stiff in there, but of course, if some moron leans on the one side too heavily it can be a problem,... but then most of us would've smacked anyone attempting to lean on our machines before they even came close now wouldnt we
the best thing about it,... it cost me about US$120, and just about any music shop that sells drums can get it in for you, or amazon even have it.
