Transmitting Note Messages via midi

Hi I am trying to transmit Note Messages to kaosspad..

according to kp manual i have to send

note on / off #36

midi message from mpc to kp.


Can i do it?

I think you're over complicating things.
connect midi A out of MPC to midi in of chaospad.
set chaos pad to recieve on midi channel 1 (for example)
choose a track on the MPC, say track 1.
on the main page assign the track to midi 1A (midi channel 1, output A)
bang the pads.
then you can record your notes into a sequence live by pressing record/play, or put them in manually in the grid edit screen.

If you have a midi keyboard, you can plug that into the mpc, and use that instead of the pads.
