My LCD from time to time kept doing this:-

The problem was quite intermittent. But it just got worse, so I got a new one from Renato. No probs since.

My fear was that it may have been the CPU board buggering up - that's expensive. But it was something within the LCD unit - so not quite so bad.

But my screen had been replaced earlier, under warranty, because one of the rows was just a permanent line. The thing that i did notice when replacing the screen above was that there were no grounding tags on that one, but there were on Renato's one.

Hope this has been some help

Looks like busted screen. Where did you get it, any chance of returning or contacting the seller?

For one it doesn't look like you have the ground wires connected. Number two if you copped it from MPCStuff it's possible that they got a bad batch of Black LCDs.. It happened to me before and they were good about replacing it. Email them and let them know the deal.
