Mpc 2500 has no sound output and no response from newly inst

whats good everyone not sure if i posted this in the right place but im pulling my **** hair out over this lol. Ive had my 2500 for about three years now and never had any problems until the sensors started to go, i ordered new pad sensors from mpc stuff and installed them and thats when shit went south, I cant get any response from the pads . Theres also zero output of sound from the headphone jack nor the stereo or the 12 outs. I tried playing the click track and tried sampling using input thru, which i got nothing. I reinstalled akai Os as well as jj os using the power on windows function to no avail . Everything else works fine on the machine otherwise. The only thing i can thing of is pad to intenal sound is off but i cant change it it because the the pads dont respond. Also reinstalling the Os would of cleared that problem if that was the case. My situation is basically the same shit Khaki Rudolph had with his 2500. Hopelfully it worked out for him, sorry bout my **** up grammer , Thanks Yall

did you go over all connections to make sure you didnt yank any cables in the process ?

Sounds like you might have screwed the connector from the pad sensors to the main board. Take the advice given by konc3pt and triple check everything.

It's easy to fcuk up a pad sensor repair when you're in a hurry or inexperienced at taking stuff apart carefully.

Thanks guys..yea i checked everything a couple of times , all connections are ok.. i hooked up the sensors to the pad pcb. same way i took the old one out, im started to think it might be the pad pcb itself

so prior to sensor replacement everything worked ?..I'd re-assemble to inspect for loose connectors, cracked pcb etc, if still come up empty handed I'd even try plugging in the old sensors..I noticed while replacing sensors on my 2500 that connectors are bit hard to pull out n the socket connectors that they plug in to on the pcb boards tend be flimsy and wiggle, maybe you broke the connection by pulling on the cable too hard ?

Yea when i had to old sensors disconnected i as still able to get sound out of the machine, then i let the mpc sit while i watied for the new sensors to arrive. so a loose connection would make sense. i already reassembled with no luck though.. I think im gonna test the pad pcb wih a multimeter to check for failed components. The only other thing i can think of is that i leave the case off and some screws out while trying to fix the mpc. I wonder if certain screws have to be in place to keep a circuit going... sorta like how xbox wont work witouth the bottom screws.
