Mpc 2500 is not playing Load Programs or samples ...

Ok... So to the point!

When I load up samples, and programs to the 2500, I cant get the sounds to play when I hit the pads or trigger off a sequences.


I can hear the sounds in the load menu when I hit the play button... and also I can hear the sounds under the Trim function (through my speakers and headphones)... my mixer settings are good and routed to my DAW correctly..so thats not the issue.

When I Load everything up and I start to set up the samples in the program, or already have a program loaded to the pads. I start to play and nothing comes out, no sounds at all.... I see the sequences is rolling but nothing is coming out or if I want to hear the sample of on the pads or program nothing comes out.

Im sure that Im overlooking something really stupid! its right there under my noses.... what is it? any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated , Thank you.

This may be a long shot, but the only things I can think of (in the OS, so not a broken hardware issue) that would explain all of this is the output assignments in the mixer window... go to the mixer and check to see that all of the pads are set to use the main outputs rather than any of the 8 outputs...
I guess you could also make sure that the volume on the pads and the mixer levels are both turned up as well...
