New to the MPC 2500 question?

So i just got a 2500... sold my 1000...But any way.. question about the rec gain on the 2500... So is it normal for the 2500 to have the rec gain all the way down and still get sound coming thru?

Checked and input thru is off... I dont get static at first then after the fifth dot it starts to get static and way loud...it starts to gain volume at the third dot... The first and second dots sound the same. The first two dots the meter reads at about the middle of the screen........

If your source is loud enough then you still have input when the rec gain is turned all the way down.

Maybe you should check the master volume you can adjust in the 'other' menu.
