Mpc 2500 xlcd users, would you recommend?

Hey,
I've been reading posts on here for a while but this is my first post so hello.
I'm an MPC1000 owner and love it but I want to get a 2500 for the studio. I'm looking at the 2500 xlcd and I'm wondering if people think its a good idea or not? I know it only runs the jjos xlcd version OS and I'm just wondering if there's any drawbacks to that or not? Appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks.

afaik, you can run all OS on the xl screen. but the "older" OS (before the 128 versions) are only utilizing half of the xl screen.

Jjos xl3 will work in full screen mode ?
