usb connection to mac

Hi,
I've wired my mpc to my Mac with a USB cable. No new devices come up even when I have my CF in my mpc. Not sure if I'm missing anything out, do i need to install any drivers?

No it's a class compliant USB device it should be recognized as a removable drive with a CF in the slot.

Which OS does your 2500 have? And you probably did but was the 'mount' button hit on the save/load screen?

I could try to repeat the error if you tell me the OS, I have all of them here. I have both OS X and Windows but I usually do my CF's/MPC mounting on Windows.

Yeah I didn't realise the USB tab was there in the save and load functions I assumed it would pop up like a flash drive sorry about that. Is working now but it takes 5 mins for my Mac to pick it up is this normal?

maybe you have lots of stuff stored on your hdd, it does take a bit to pop up, but not 5minutes...never timed it but no more than a minute
