when pads sensors go, does the 16 button stop working?

Hi basicly my pads act strange and 16. Level botton is not working, is this becouse my. Pad sensors are going bad?

after googling around i found out its normall for the 16 level button and cant change programs from main screen, its cuz the pads sensor is brocken, i hoped i helped someone else who has the same problem...
