i was wondering if u could adapt thE LCD so it has no backlight?
i know it sounds weird but my mate cant handle green or blue backlight from mpc's need to it to be so its with no light at all.says he has retina issues(sounds like bs)
like the old gameboys if u can remember-where u can see the blocks but no backlight.

.i know the mpc 2000's have it not sure of 2500
wanna sell him my old 2500 as i have se edition, and need the cash!!
HELP

plz no stop or shit and data wheel tips ,that doesnt affect backlight only contrast!!

I hear what you're saying, is it more about hooking up a friend or just selling an MPC?

Because no matter world economics you will always be able to sell an MPC and have no shortage of buyers.

Ill's probably right in there being a way to disable it, although I think that might just cause a different set of readability problems as he'll have to have his face like 3 inches from the LCD to read it.

yeah megatron u hit the nail i wanna hook him up, hes keen on the mpc since we tried it at turnkeys years ago,

i got a spare which i dont need.

just unsure about backlight , i hear u tho .

if i get it wrong i have unusable lcd, there must be a way tho? seen a 2000 4000 with no backlight, cant be that crazy to do?

It's no real help but on a lot of 3000's and 4k's it just died and hasn't been fixed. But again Ill's probably right they can be disabled I just no nothing about it myself.

Tell him he's lucky you are trying to hook him up. The only MPC I have that I could help a friend with, is an XL with 16 missing LCD lines, so it gets worse. :lol:
