Mode button error

HI my mode button does not work it just flashes i also cant here any sounds out of pads i can still play and hear factory songs is this a common problem i have just started using the 2500 . thanks

read the manual before saying it's broken.

MODE button doesn't do anything on it's own... you press MODE and then a pad to go into a certain menu.

pads don't have sounds until you load and assign sounds to pads.

Hi thanks for the reply i still have the problem the internal preset sounds and sequences would load up and assign to pads as normal but now they still do but no sound comes out but when i play the song it plays no probs when i press the mode button to go into any editing it wont let me ! is there any way to reboot all settings any help would be very grate full
