New Pad Sensors, Dead Pads

A few weeks ago I found out that I had two dead pads, pads 13 and 14. After trying the method of slicing the sensor to release air in the pad and getting no results I decided to buy a new set a pad sensors from MPCStuff.com (the correct sensors; there are two models used in the 2500). After replacing the sensors pads 13 and 14 work fine, as well as all other pads EXCEPT pad 2.

Initially I had no issues with this pad with the original sensor set, but not I do. Does anyone have any idea as to what the issue can be now? I really don't want to have to purchase another set of sensors at $80.

It is possible you got faulty sensors, personally I'd unplug sensors ribbon cable from mpc n plug it back in

I did that. I even unplugged the actual board that connects to the sensors from the unit and reconnected it.

did you by any chance keep old sensors or they got trashed already ?

I still have them.

you probably have thought of this already, but easiest way to verify new sensors are faulty is if you hooked up old sensors and pad 2 works
