I currently have the Mpc2500, Stanton t.62 turntable and Stanton 2-channel mixer.
Plus an Akai MPK49 midi controller and m-audio monitors. I'm missing the mixer, sound module. Also the audio interface. (I'm asking if the amplifier and audio interface are the same?) Also, i'm on a budget. Any suggestions on which brands offer good prices. I have a small homemade studio and I don't require very expensive equipment.

Get a usb/ firewire mixer first, then a sound module.

I used to have this one a couple of years ago. Back at the time it was around $400. It allows you to use it as a mixer and multitrack straight into your computer.

If you have a decent computer try to get a hold of a copy of Reason and use that as a sound module for the time being.

yamaha mox is basically a keyboard sound module and audio/midi interface all in one...

but you only get stereo inputs... and stereo outputs...

This would work if you got rid of the mpk...

Otherwise bugger off the soundmodule and use the computer as a soundmodule... make sure you get a audiointerface with midi i/o ....
