When I load up the sequences that I have saved, I cannot hear them. I can hear the samples fine when I load them up.

Am I not saving them properly? Is this a common problem?

Thanks

In SUPER detail, let us know what you are doing.
Don't leave out a step, mode or button pressed.
What OS, all of that, everything.

Are you saving the program (with sounds), and reloading that, before trying to reload and play the sequence?

The program is where the samples are assigned to the pads, if you don't load up the program and samples assigned within it, then the sequence will not have any sounds to play.

It's os is version 1.22. The date is 16 August 2006

OK, so I have already cut up a sample and assigned them to pads. I make a sequence. The settings on the screen are as follows MUTE:OFF, MIDI:OFF, Pgm:Program01 Type:DRUM Tr:01-Track 01. I press MODE then SAVE. I go to SAVE A SEQUENCE (to memory card). I press DO IT. I can save it as SEQ or MID. I save it as SEQ. I turn off the mpc and on again. I press MODE then LOAD. I scroll to the sequence that I saved and press DO IT. I load it into 01-(unused). I press MAIN. I press PLAY START. The timer starts but no sound comes out.

I do the same but this time save it under 'all sequences and songs', with the same results.

Do you have any suggestions?

Many thanks
