MPC 2500 sound problem?

I just got my mpc 2500 and before using it I was using fl studio with different midi controllers and whatnot. I don't know if i'm tripping or if there's anything wrong with my mpc but are all the sounds coming from it supposed to sound so lo fi?

when i say lo fi not the good kind of vinyl lo fi but like very grainy audio (not enough to call it "staticky", not being a an actual term but you know what I mean)

i dont know if it'll change when i export a project(which i dont know how to do yet btw) because as for i know when i used fl the sound quality got a lot better when i exported my projects.

if you have an explanation it'd be very appreciated, thanks.

p.s. im %100 sure its not my speakers unless i need to get sound using something other than the headphone jack.

If you are using jjos, go into record mode, change analog to digital & then back to analog.

any way to make the sound louder for headphone use? my volume is at full and its not really that loud at all and its like that for every sample i use.

mpc 2500 isnt supposed to sound lo-fi so if yours does there's something wrong with it..

as far as outputting hotter singal through headphones or speakers there's global mixer output gain in settings that you'll need to change, right now you probably have it set at 12dbs

I'm not in front of mpc right now dig around different menus, I wanna say you'll find it under "other" pad or mixer settings

Is this happening to sounds that you are recording into the MPC2500, or sounds that you are loading into it?

If they are sounds that you are loading into it, are they 44.1kHz/16-bit .WAV files?

Also, check the impedance of your headphones. It is possible that an impedance mismatch is causing low output levels from the MPC2500. Check the manuals of both to make sure your impedances are "compatible".

doing the analog to digital switch thing helped a bit i still feel theres more room to make the sound more clear.

and im very sure its not any of the audio equipment im using.

nvm its all good now, the switch did it.
