Help! mpc 2500 playback is acting weird at times. Please hel

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is but I will try to explain as best as I can. There are times when I have a few samples loaded on a few pads to which I add filters (mostly the low pass filter). Ill record the samples the way I want them onto a sequence but once its playing back the samples sound like they are not playing the way it should. sometimes some of the percussion (hats,shakers and other things) will play for 2 bars and then not play for the other 2 bars. Or the samples will play fine (with filters and all) for 2 bars and then the filters will go off on their own for the last 2 bars. I'm not sure if this happens because all of the pads have the same low pass filter or what but I just cant seem to figure out what the problem is

not sure either. If you play the sequence with out recording do you have same problem? Maybe you have run out of memory for the sequence, that can do funny things.
Also are you actually using Akai OS?? You should use JJOS instead, and there is a free version to

check your ramp chips
