How well does the MPC25k sequence your other gear?

I got my MPC 2500 connected with 12 synthesizers via MIDI out, and with 4 synthesizers via MIDI in (via a MIDI through box). It works absolutely perfect, no latency, no timing issues. Also, the sequencer is very intuitive, yet advanced. There's no reason not to use the 2500 as a main sequencer.
