I've read the manual and plenty of help online but still cannot figure this out.
Set up:
Mpc 2500 w/ JJOS 3
Native Instruments S4 (DJ controller) w/ Traktor 6 (6 channel audio) interface
Computer
Questions:
1. How can I record the audio output of the mpc to go my computer? I'm not even sure how cables I'd need to buy to accomodate the 8 outs or what I need to plug into the audio interface.
2. Is it true that if I individually track each sound that it ruins MPC's timing/swing?
3. Can I track out with the MPC being the master and my DAW being the slave?
4. Do I need to sync the Midi if I am aiming to use audio outputs instead?
4. The MPC has both quarter inch outs (8 of them) and two stereo outs (L/R). Could I juse use my stereo L/R out straight into the audio interface and send the usb output to the computer?
