Assign Sample to Pad does not work -need advice

I can load / record a sample but when I assign it to a Pad it does not play. However I can Edit and hear the sample in TRIM mode. Also in PROGRAM mode I see that the sample is assigned to the right Pad (and bank). In OTHER mode I check that the Pad is responsive. I upgraded to AKAI OS v1.24. What else could be wrong? Any advice is welcome!

Is the pad set to One Shot? Is the volume of the pad in the Mixer set at an audible level? How is the routing of the pad at the back end? Is it routed to the Main Outs? If so, is the pad assigned to one of the FX?

Thanks for your help. The conditions seem to be fulfilled on my side. I have the stereo out connected to my mixer board and I can hear the sample in TRIM mode, the Pad is assigned to ST but I cannot hear it outside TRIM, one shot & volume I checked.

What OS are you running?

It's not a hardware issue, since outputs audio in Trim mode. So I think it's a program or mixer issue.

Do you maybe have a program or project from the previous owner you can check and see if it shows similar behaviour?

I re-installed AKAI OS v1.24 but the problem is still there. I need the capability to record a sample from audio input and I think JJOS does not have this.

Remove the ram card and try without.
