hi guys basically thinking of purchasing either the 2500 or the 4k, money isnt really the important factor, for me i want ease, and and all in one rather then intergrating with a computer, is the 2500 much different in terms of features to the 4k? and how is chop shop different to the chopping features on the 4k? would it be such a difference in my experience if i had a 2500 with a cd drive and a hard disk installed compared to having a 4k?

If you are going aftter ease...the 2500 is the winner.

If you are wanting the closen't thing to a standalone music production workstation...the MPC 4000 beats the 2500 with its current OS. Neither burns audio CDs..but the MPC 4000 will burn wav files onto a CD-R.
