Can you have the input thru on while you are sampling the main output?for example, if i had a keyboard or rack synth hook to the mpc input and had the thru set to on, could i still hear the keyboard or rack synth playing when i am sampling the main output? i would try it myself but my mpc is packed up in the trunk

Yeah this works ok, but the thing I dont get is when you assign the newly recorded sample to a pad the Input Thru stops.... thru'ing.
But once you assign the sample to pad the and click Keep, then the Input Thru bursts back in to life. Hardly a live performance tool - check it and see what I mean.

Maybe the new firmware will sort this out, but I havent seen it in the Bug Fix list.

Cheers,
