Is it just me....

I don't get the results described when turning on the track mute function and subsequently trying to record the track mute events. Maybe I am misreading or misunderstanding what track mute event recording means:

I thought it meant that as you're recording, you can MUTE a track at any given time during the sequence and it will record that event so as it plays back it will mute as recorded. Am I wrong?

Second, in the addendum it shows a window where you can choose track mute groups by hitting the pads. How do you get to this screen?

you pretty much have a general idea of what it does but I'll try to help clarify it for ya a little more

if u want to record track mutes highlight MUTE in the MAIN screen and hit window, then change record track mute events to on

then to record the mute performance hit the TRACK MUTE button that is right below the bank a-d buttons, from this screen hit REC or OVDub and play and record ur performance

the track mute groups tab is also accessed from this screen by hitting F2, the basic function of this is so that u can hit one pad and the others are muted too if they're in the same mute group

so instead of hitting pad 1,2,3,and 4 separately, u can hit for example pad 1 and have it mute 2,3,and 4 also, that is only if they are assigned the same mute group number

hoped this helped

you clarified everything by putting me on to the fact there is a "track mute" button. The manual didn't clearly explain this... of course assuming that everyone inherently knew there was a button. I must be blind...haha.

Thank you very much for the thorough explanation.

how do you undo a track mute and redo it differently. I seem to have issues deleting my track mute events.
