did they improve the connectivity???

cause it was stated as one of the important updated features..

You might look at the manual addendum for a description how it works now. Basically you don't have to unplug the cable anymore, and you can select if you want to access the HD or CF card directly from the USB screen. Before the update you had to select the proper from either the Load or Save screen, which was not stated in the manual either I think.

And generally, I think nobody should expect them to upgrade it to USB2.0 sometime, cause that requires different hardware for all that I know. So that won't be improvable by a software update.

i was just curious to see exactly what they did with the 2500

Oh, and they added a "Mount" button, in case your computer does not recognize the MPC automatically. Didn't have to use that so far however...
