EXTERNAL USB HARD DRIVE

Is there any way to use one with the MPC 2500? Has anyone tried this yet? Or even using an iPod.

No. you can only use internal drives.

there is no physical connection for any external storage devices on the 2500 or the 1000. the usb port that is on the mpc 2500/1000 is a slave port, not a host port.
