i started making beats on an ensoniq eps 16. then tranfered to reason software for about a year. then i notice i had to think and work to hard to make the music happen. does anyone else feel that way about software??? anyway, i picked up the mpc2500 about 3 months ago and damn... its so easy to use and quick, ive at least doubled my output of beats per week.. easier to chop samples and drums which is what i hated doing in recycle... also as soon as i think of a concept its right in the sequencer.. the pads, thats one of the best parts hell i dont even quantize anymore shits crazy... anyway i just wanted to post, dont do that to often... and yeah if you want to check my work since i got the mpc2500 check me at: http://www.myspace.com/themainingredient

I was in pretty much the same situation, computer based production bored me and sampling in the pc was annoying. Recycle is a good bit of kit but just not for me.

Picked up the 2500 and i'm slowly learning it, haven't been able to give it nearly as much time as i'd like but it's coming along.

The sequencer, sampler and pads are all great.

Nice stuff.....Good choice of samples...Could use some cuts on the chorus'...to break it up a bit.

Yea as much as i like reason, its a much longer process, so many perameters thrown in your face at once, very overwhelming, mpc ithe stuff just flows, still new to it, but i can already tell, n yea i like the beats man.

has anyone ever noticed how bad the sound quality of recycle is?... like when you slow down a loop, its not long before you can hear the gaps in between slices eh.
