Upgrading to an MPC1000 to a MPC2500?

I currently use an MPC1000 and have owned an MPC2000 in the past. The only thing I miss from the 2000 is the pads. Do you think it is stupid to upgrade based on pads? I'm not interested in another 2000....because I like all of the modern features of the 1000.

If it helps you to work better and you can afford it then go for it!

I'm sure if you used one you'd love the added features it has over the 1000.

I tried working with my screen laid flat and it did my head in, so the tilt screen is another really good feature, not to mention the other extras in the OS, the number pad etc etc

Sure does.

The OS is pretty much the same as the 1k, with some added features.

You'll feel right at home with it

yeah it can...
i just upgraded a week ago, from the 1k to the 2500, worth it for the pads & screen... its improved my creative flow
