also I advise you do not buy computer type equipment such as hard drives and cd burners off turnkey without comparing prices because on computer hardware they normally ridiculously overrcharge.

btw I use a 40gb akai approved Toshiba MK4026 gax works almost perfect part from 1 or 2 'wrong file' errors but i think this is to with the os not the hard drive

i just gve my bank card to my mum and told her to hide it from me!... i came so close to buying a 1000 online from dv, but it would be stupid as im so close to having enough for the 2500.
im just roasting to get an mpc man!
ive even got all my samples ready for the 1st beat im gonna make on it!.. gonna re do an old beat i made and see if it sounds better when sequenced on the mp. with the 'legendary swing' lol

if you want to know more about what type of hard drive and CF cards and RAM to get, head over to the 1000 section and look at the stickies on the top of the section. the 1k and the 2.5k use the same hardware.

comes with 32 meg cf, not a lot but they arnt that expensive to get a gig, i just kept my 32, and i put a 20gb hard drive inside for 15 quid. nice
