.....hello folks. Please dont give me any grief if this is really stupid, I know it probably is but I'm a newbie and need some help. Spent the last 4 hours trying to track down the answer to this as well as playing on my mpc but with no joy..so please...I have tried!
Ok, so say you've got a short string sample and you essentially want to hold the note i.e. the sample last half a bar and you want it to maintain the same note for 4 bars.
Now note repeat isnt any good as it just plays the first part of the sample.
Looping the sample, tricky...I have tried adjusting the fella to making it shorter/longer but you can still hear the loop points. Even if you loop once and then again then add the same sample between the two samples previously set, you can still hear it looping.
Time stretch...nah...thay doesnt sound at all right.
So essentially, I want to hold a note for a certain amount of time.
Any ideas anyone?
