8 outs on the mpc2500????

in your opinion does it make sence to get the digidesign mbox2 when working w/ the mpc2500??? also does the akia MFC42 work well w/ the mpc 2500????

If you plan on tracking out 10 tracks at a time no. Look at something with more inputs.

I know they're twice the price used but i'd rather pick up a proper filter, like the Sherman Filterbank.

You'll probably get pissed off with the mbox if/when you end up wanting more inputs.

If you want more inputs but don't want to drop a load on a Digi 002 you could always get something like an M-Audio FW1814 used and go with Pro Tools M-Powered.
