Step Edit Pad Assignment - Change All Feature?

not sure if i missed this in the manual. Is there a way to select all events in step edit on say a snare track and change the pad assignments all at once? I can manually do it but editing 24 bars can become tedious.

I might suggest copying the program to a new one with the correct samples layout and then changing to that program for the track?

Nah, I'm asking if you can change all the existing pad assignments on a track from the step edit window with one command. Shouldn't need to copy a program to accomplish a simple editing task. Maybe i'm thinking too LOGICal.

Not sure about your precise question... but, you could just reassign the sound to the pad that you already have in the track...

Like, if all you wanna do is change the snare sound.. just go into the program... and change the sound assigned to that pad..


Its almost a one stop fix...

yeah, i guess that's the best way to go about doing it. Was trying to make the mpc work the way i want and not the other way around.
