Hi there... hopefully I haven't missed something too obvious, I did some forum searching but I seem to do everything right...

I have an M-Audio Keystation 61es I hooked up to the MIDI IN 1 port of my 25k.

Then I have a cable hooking the MIDI OUT A port of the 25k to the MIDI IN of my PC.

I put the track to midi, midi to 1A and PGM to whatever: if I play the pads, my PC reacts accordingly.

If I play the keyboard, nothing happens, settings in MIDI/SYNC are defaults.

For troubleshooting purposes, I plugged the Keyboard directly to my PC: works as expected.

Anything I'm missing here? The manual doesn't say much but "check your cables and try again" =/

TIA

In the MIDI/SYNC menu of your MPC set the soft THRU value to omni-all or to omni-A (aka the midi output that you got connected to your PC). Page 53 in the manual gives you all the different possibilities.

A bit of an update... I can now get the signal thru, somehow, but it's very very very buggy where it works perfectly fine without passing thru the MPC

anyone else using M-Audio keyboards?
