BATTERY PACK

Anyone know of such a device that can be used with the MPC's cord? or any electronic hardware for that matter. Something that uses batteries so that you could use the mpc even when there's no electrical outlet around..

Funny, I thought of that as well today.

But I don't think there will be such a thing, cause the DC of the batteries will have to be converted to AC first to go into the MPC, only to be converted into DC again in there by the MPC's power supply. Not very effective I think.

Such a thing would be much easier with boxes who have an external power supply anyway. Then you could even build a battery pack yourself...

Just curious...why do you want to use an MPC 2500 in an area that doesn't have an electrical outlet?

I wanted to know; for places like airplanes, cars, or just areas were you can sit and not have to worry about the cord at all. i sometimes use a power inverter in the car but its just more stuff to carry.... thats why.

Ok...I have one of the power outlets that you plug into the car lighter.

making beats while driving? guess it can't be worse than watching tv.

I have a DC9v / Rc power pack I got at radio shack I can use it with my ElectroTribes but I don't know of one to use with an ac .

Are you saying that that power outlet will work from the mpc2500 to the car? I would love to make tracks from the passenger seat during 4 hour trips.. or better yet coming back from a show! yeah.

Yes, it works. You can take your MPC 2500 on the road and create some music.

Oh ok thats great, can you please link me to the proper adaptor I need to buy to make that happen. Thanks in advance.
