Transpose in step edit

Is there a way to transpose notes in STEP EDIT all at once? For instance, when I record a chord to my mpc in track1, and want another track in a lower octave, I usually cut and paste track1 to track2, then shift down 12 steps for each note. For simple chords, yes, it's easy. But for tracks with longer melodies and more notes, it can be pretty time consuming and tedious.

Is there a way to select all the notes in the track and shift them down together? Or a faster way to do this?
