You don't have to add air, just let the mpc sample ans extra second longer. Now just chop until you are happy. It's not hard, it shouldn't even be an issue.
Combine imagination with MPC features if you need to.
YEah yeah, you and that dude MPC3000 couldn't understand why it was an issue for me when I was using the 2000. I'll explain why it's an issue again. I have gigs upon gigs of perfectly sliced samples. Perfectly sliced for all other samplers except the 2000(that I know of). None actually sampled on the 2000 or 2500 for that matter. Now when I take a kick that I have used in other samplers with no problem, and try to use the same sample in the 2000, it cuts off sooner than I know it should. So I know how it should sound but have to deal with, or sorry, use imagination to make it work? I'm all for using imagination but I have spent countless hours compiling samples and like them how they are. 30ms makes a big difference when you are working with a sliced up break. The 2000 closes doors on production possibilties unless you add silence or have an extra 30ms to spare in your samples. That's why it's an issue.
