mpc2500 sync problem

im using logic express7.2 and when i sync the 2500 w/ it, logic slows down my mpc.... im making sure the tempos match on both ends but 100bpm in logic is not 100bpm on the mpc.... logic is slower

BPM's in different manufactures gear is not always the same, it may drift slightly by milliseconds.

Midi is an international standard, use midi for sync if you can. Slave one or the other for external sync and it will follow the bpm of the Master.
You won't have to babysit the tempo..
