presumably on your mpc 2500???
you need a midi cable. and read about "control change".
completely depends on what you are trying to control and what changes you are trying to make to that.
control change see - magicle

Explain what you did.
How'd you do it?
What different ways did you try it?
Why do you think it's not working?
You aren't helping us help you so no, we can't help you without more info.

to the first guy... yee i got me a manual too....
second guy... thanks ill look that up.
lampdog...
this is what i need to do: choose a sound.. lets say its a Horn, and i want to be able to play the horn through a midi controller, so its spread out through all the keys, but its not working, whats happening is, all the sounds on the MPC in that Pad Bank are getting played on each Key.
so ive read the manual, tried the stuff it said, and it didnt work, watched a dvd... the guy on there explained it well, and had the video up to the screen so i could see what i change, but it didnt work.
so ive tried everything it states in the manual and that dvd, syncing it... changing the channel, EVERYTHING. but it hasnt worked.

Hi!
load the sample into a program.
go to program mode. move cursor to the tune value and press the window button. then press auto (f5) and "do it".
(( to match the tune of your sample to the normal scale put it to the according original key in "auto chromatic assign" window. Therefor you have to look at the pad/note assignement (press f4 in program mode) after you ve done the autochromatic once, because note assignment is different when you create an autochr.program. in a normal drum program the notes are assigned differently to match the gm standard and to have base drums snares and hihats on pad a1 to a8 for example
sry cant explain it better.))
just have a try!
you got to have at least os 1.2 installed for doing that.(or 1.1 ?? i dont know exactly)

i just bought a maudio controller25 key, what i did was sample keys off of one of my keyboards 25 notes low to high, in samp. trim extracted it into 25 samples numbered 1 to 25 assuming you controller is syncing with25k when your in prog mode (sample screen) when you kit a key on the controller the pad # will show on the left side of screen start with 1 go to 25 as your hitting pushing keys from low to high on controller, the 16 level doesnt lay it out across your controller keys, if your starting with one sound you will have to tune it with the pitch thats on the left side of the same screen going 1 octive higher or lower from pad to pad

b.i.t.e, see how that works big dog, come with enough details and people can advise you on what they think and what they have done that just might work for you. If you give nothing you get nothing..
