changing multible items in SEQ edit?

is this possible? Id like to change the duration (or velocity) of several or all notes at the same time - put them to the same lenght..not each note by itself, after another...

is there a way?

Just hit the pads you wanna change...they'll be added in the "Notes:" line

i am talking about changing various notes - IN THE SEQ EDIT menue - the velocity and or the lenght....
I´m not talking about the programm menue ...

I am in Sequence Edit. I can press various pads and they get selected for Editing. I can select what I want to edit in the "Edit:" field.

So what now?

No, I think you are in the "Events Edit". In the Sequence Edit window you can highlight multiple events by holding the "Shift" key, but I also couldn't find out how to actually change their value after that.

ok we are in the same menue... now:

select view notes: ALL
ok - i could now move or copy them - but how do i change their duration or velocity?
Try it... i can´t - i only can change velocity of one note at a time....

Anyhow - it´s like Sonny Chiba wrote - you can select several events with the shift key - but how do you chane theitr duration values at the same time?

Hm, I think you can't. Maybe actually try it in Sequence Edit. You would have to select the Pad and the time range you want to change, then you can change duration and velocity.

hm shame - so there is room for improvment for akai....

- yeah seq edit -- but with many different notes played this can get difficult (figuring out the pads...)

Yea, with a lot of notes, of course. I also noticed, when you select more than four pads, some dots appear next to the displayed pads...but you don't see which pads are hidden behind that, only the last four pressed
