Can someone tell me how to turn the time signature off? I just got my 2500 and I'm used to the 2000XL. I can't figure out how to turn the tsig off so, I can lay some piano parts. I searched the site before posting. I couldn't find anything.

Why does the time signature bother you? Or are you talking about timing correction?

Just set the proper tempo, and turn off quantize.

It's backward from the XL, "OFF" comes after 32 instead of being first.

I called Akai yesterday and they told me what to do. I was used to the 2000XL way of doing it. Thanks for your response.

Yep, it was time correct. The process is different on my former MPC (2000xl). I got it now. Thanks for everybody's help.
