Wassup guys aight here's my situation everytime i 16 level in tune say a long tone and i want to play it out over say 6 pads it's like they cut off and i have to wait completely till i take my finger off the previous pad to continue to hit the next, then i will have to try like 5-8 time's to get it sounding okay i have the TC to off and i have the sample note to POLY am i missing something here?
I just want to be able to play it seamlessly over 6 or 7 pads and have the sounds overlap a little.
Any help would be great im hoping its a setting i have wrong or something.
Thanks-J.

I really didn't understand your question, but when you're in 16 levels tune mode, you can't be "polyphonic" with the notes because all you're doing is taking 1 sample assigning it to all the pads at different tuning. You definitely won't be able to overlap the notes.

i cant tell you how to get around that on the 2500,that was the main problem i was having myself thats why i bought a 25key midi controller work well for bass lines and such i also use it when i want to do multiple triggers with a chopped sample, the only downside is that 16 levels tone doesnt translate across the keyboard you,ll have top map the sounds yourself which isnt bad once youve done it once or twice (it was well worth it for me)

This may be one of those..read the manual threads

You can playback 16 levels...poly or mono...note on or one-shot. You have to make these settings first, and then use 16 levels.

Play with these, and you should be able to do what you need.

okay maybe i didn't state the question as it should of been.
i know how to do the note on and note off.
Basically what im tring to say is say i have a sample loaded note on and hit 16 levels okay now i can play the sample via 16 pads changing the tune.
Now if i want to hit say pads 6,8,5,2,4,1 in a fast sequence right after each other all the pads just wont sound, now if i hit the pad say 6 let off the pad then hit pad 8 and so on like that it will work.
It seems like in 16 levels it wont let you play, say pad 2 until pad 4 is done sounding thats why i was asking if there was like a note overlap or something that can work while in 16 levels but i don't think so.

I dunno ill just keep messin wit it thanks tho.-J.

ps. i probably still didn't state the question the way it shoulda but i think someone will understand.

Before you it 16 levels...go into the Program menu and set the sample to Poly instead of MONO. Then use 16 Levels...
