Need help locating a certain thread

i'm hoping someone could help me out and post a link to the thread that indicates whether or not the 2500 has the exact same RAM issue as the 1K (only reads one side of the stick)... i know [or at least expect] that this has been asked before... i tried the search function, but unfortunately i haven't been successful in locating exactly what i'm looking for... would someone please be kind enough to post a link to that thread for me?
