I am not a 100% certain but I am pretty certain either the Akai or the Moog is responding to MIDI data in some strange way.
As you will hear by the examples provided, when the Moog is used to trigger the Virus; the key performance is being sent to the Moog as well. Although this bug happens during the performance, it is not alter the previously recorded Moog MIDI sequence. Upon playback of the sequence, all acts as if this bug never happened; leaving the composition intact peacefully.
I am completely at loss for what’s going on with the MIDI still. I attached mp3s for your review along with as much information as possible to help get a grip on what is happening.
