MIDI Notes

Ok, I might be missing something, but can somebody explain to my why the MIDI notes aren't set up chromaticly when I switch the unit on?
They're just all over the place, randomly it seems to me...
And is there possible to save a MIDI Note setup?
It's a big hassel setting up note 35-98 every F***ing time I want to control my sound moduls with the 2.5K...

This is a very common question, a bit of search will let you find a program you can upload to your MPC that places notes in a chromatic order. If I am not mistaken.

Setup your own pgm with all the midi notes perfectly, save that pgm, load it everytime you turn on your mpc and there you have your very own midi pgm template. There is no reason why the numbers are offset that way, it's been discussed before and we've all come to the conclusion to just workaround it. The 2kxl midi mapping is the same way.
