assinging samples

can someone tell me how too assign and save my drum samples to my pads ? i chopped some drums up using cs but i dont know how too save them and when i go back too main screen pgm says sample 1 but i dont hear them??

yhea i went thru steps in the manual but but ending results were unsuccesful i was hoping someone on this forum my have a easier explanation to help solve my dillema ill just keep trying im sure ill figure it out eventually

ive been thru the manualafter i complete the steps to have my drum sample show on the main page i dont hear it anymore??same thing in program mode,i only hear it when i record it
? plz tell me the answer or should i update my os??im using 1.1

get new os 1.21 or 1.22

i had too call akai about my problem with samples from cd not playing thru the pads,tech support walked me thru the process and still nothing even after i updated my os,so ill be shipping it to them to have it fixed,after only 2 months
