Im a proud owner of the MPC1000 at the mo n i like the features and the new os is great but i really dislike the feel of it. I had a classic 2000 for about a month and loved the pads on it. For the MPC 2500 how do you think the feel of the pad differs from the 1000 and is worth upgrading. It wouldnt be a huge expence cus i found a nice second hand 1 and i could sell my 1000 for quite a good price im sure. I just wouldnt bother upgrading if the pads are just as stiff and unsensitive.Theres obiously some other features that i find very appealing but this would be my deciding factor. Ne opinions are appreciated.

Personally having used the 1000 previously, the 2500 pads are a big plus point for me. When i first brought the 2500 i did find the pads stiff and was quite dissapointed compared to that of the old 2000, however after using it for a while the pads 'broke in' and now feel much better and a lot more like the classic feelin 2000's.

2500s use same pads as older 2k,xl,3k,4k,60 models. they are made with rubber, so you need to break em in a bit.
