Post your views and questions about the Akai MPC2500

I installed my new HD and the ram, and when i turn my MPC on it just says mpc2500 128mb installed, and doesnt go to any other screen, what do i need to do to make it work?

i know im not the only one thats use third party ram here, im just confused. it has to be the ram because when i pull it out it loads up fine and i can access the HD. is there something i can do or did i get bunk ass ram

You have bad RAM. Try and return it. Thats all you can do.

This time get the Original AKAI ram. That's what happens when you put cheap ram in your expensive machine.

Bad RAM does happen....

But the odds are in your favor when you purchase approved RAM, and approved hard drives. Why spend $1600 plus then try to save $50 by buying non-Akai RAM???

Then avoid making the same mistake and get the Akai RAM. This way you know what you are getting and you know that it will work.
