How do you guys save?

Right, flamesuit on. All I can defend myself with is that I have read the manual - and I've done some experiments.

I've got this bad habit of always saving the entire memory when doing beats. The problem? Well... half of my memory card is filled with songs. Songs that are using the same programs and samples found elsewhere on the card.

Is there a way to save just the songs/sequences and let the MPC magically load the right programs from the card?

How do you guys save your song and sequences on the MPC?

I save my entire memory to a folder as well. I don't worry about storage space. It the CF card and/or hard drive gets full, save it to another storage medium. You can transfer song files/data to a PC and burn them onto a CD-R/DVD-R to archive.
