Auto chromatic and effects modulation.

Am I missing something? No mention of this in the manual, and I don't think it was mentioned before in this forum. Did a search and saw nothing. This 2500 is a dope box, but they should have left all the functions in the same areas like on the XL.
Also, I can record volume changes via the q-link, but it won't record the effects changes. That makes no sence. If I enable it to record mix changes, shouldn't that include the effects?
p.s. I never had a problem with the XL manual, but has anyone else realized that this manual is really horrible? Example? I look index, and it points me to page 33, a 1 sentence, 2 line explanation that explains nothing about how to use/edit effects. The effects page is actually on pages 97-102 and shows nothing about recording the effects. Mixer automation says nothing about effects, but maybe I'm crazy for assuming that recording mixer and effect changes would be the same.

What kind of effect changes are you talking about? Cutoff and Reso, right?

No, I want to adjust the effects from the mixer page (FXSEND). I enable recording mix changes, but it doesn't do anything for the fx. It only records volume/pan changes.

I guess your closest option would be to insert a Effect event. You probably already know that though.

So is this another bug with the akai OS? When I had the XL, I didn't use the effects a whole lot.. maybe a little reverb here and there, but if I remember correctly, recording mixer changes was done the same way, and that included the effects.
