Yo whatsup fam? got a question that im not sure how to solve and im new to the mpc game so its hopefully something easy to change-here it is: im in record/sample and i just recorded 2 samples 15 seconds long each and assigned them to pads now i was hoping to do more but its only letting me go up to 3 seconds for my record time!!! i need more than that! and i got a feelin its gona say 0secs after that 2 ! whats up? is it memory? help a brudda out \ peace

You need the ram upgrade.The 2500 only comes with 16MB of sample time. You can upgrade it to 128MB. :D

I ordered mine on ebay. This guy gives you 22,222 free samples when you order. Definitely worth it. IMO

ok cool but what can i do in tha mean time? any tips? will it help to take all tha sounds that came with tha mpc, back them up on computer and then format the mpc fo more space?... hit me bak ps that was mad fast!

Did you turn autoload off?? If not go to the Load screen 'Mode' 'pad 2'

chang the top field to:Load from:INTERNAL MEMORY

then press the window button and turn autoload off

reboot your 2500 and the internal memory will not load up any samples this will give you the full 16MB to work with. :D
