Using mpc 2500 with Reason 3.0

ok im using a mpc2500 with reason 3.0 and for some reason when i use it with redrum or any other rack.. for some reason it doesnt play the sounds in order... like instead of the sounds being in order like pad 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 its like pade 1 is sound 2... and pad 2 is sound 5... and pad 12 is mute on on pad.. idk y it does this plz let me know y it does that?...

it s because the pads in MPC are not assigned to the notes of a keyboard, so u need to create a chronologic PGM in order to be able to play it the way u like it.
in the program window, tune section u push the window button. see how it goies then...

i read a dj shadow interview where he said it took him days to figure out how to make his mpc pads correspond to those in battery.

guess he should've just come here and asked!

i finnally figured it out.. so any body who had the same problem look here...
go to your akai mpd16 utility and go to reason and change all your kits to some of the same ones in reason.. like say pad1 is suppose to be a bass drum, change the assigned snar on your akai and make it a bass drum on etc etc.. but if you didnt understand what i just said let me know.. ill make a vid tutorial ..

well their is a "learn" function in battery how could u miss that shi* what a numpty

I took all the drums out of Reason with a program called Refill Viewer, converted them to wavs, and bam....... Reason in my MPC.

Where'd you get the program?

Googled for it....cant remember exactly where though, sorry.
